16 year old Joel Howse is congratulated by Mt Beauty Gliding Club CFI Andrew Evans after recently achieving solo status. In his spare time Joel's many interests include practising gliding on his flight simulator, plus designing and building small rockets and radio controlled model planes on his 3D printer.
Bacchus Marsh
Another big day at Bacchus Marsh with 37 launches and a maximum temp of 14 degrees! We hosted 24 air league cadets, giving them all introductory lessons. The club was also well represented with 17 members present to make the day work like a Swiss watch.
