The selection of our pilots to participate in the coming 2025 and 2026 World Championships has been completed.

 
The 39th FAI World Championships for 15m , Standard and Club class commences on 7th June thru to 21st June 2025 at Tabor, Czech Republic.
 
Australian Team is:
Club Class: James Nugent, Daniel Summers
15m Class: Matthew Scutter, David Jansen, and
Standard Class: Adam Woolley, Allan Barnes 
 
Team Captain: Sophie Curio
 
Following on in July 26th thru to 9th August 2025 is the 13th FAI Women's World
Championships. These championships will be held in Zbraslavice, Czech Republic  
Sophie Curio will fly a JS3RES in 18m class
 
The 40th World Championships will be held in Czestachowa Poland 16th thru 30th May 2026.
Australia will send:
18m class: Lumpy Patersen, Norm Bloch, 
Open class: Allan Barnes, David Jansen and 
20m Class: Pilot Team Adam Woolley and Keith Gately.
 
Team Captain applications currently under consideration.
 
Selection for the Junior team for the 14th FAI World Junior Gliding Championships is currently under review. The championships will be in Aalen-Eichingen Germany 2nd Aug thru 15th Aug 2026. 
 
A Team Captain will also be selected to support the Junior WGC.
 
Keep your eye out on soaring spot for the progressive results. Team members always like to hear words of encouragement and support from home.
